Thanks- I thought it was a good read since it explores not just the baseball side of the trade but the personal side too. The part about Bourn's son shows the human side involved. Can you imagine being the kid or close relative of a journeyman?

Wade had to go thru both the owner and the prospective owner. Standard practice I would guess. I guess the difference is how fast Angelos or McLane or Crane get back to him...
