The Mets got clobbered by the Braves in back-to-back games after taking the opening game of the series.

Now at 7-5, they have a day off today to heal their wounds and try to regroup and go home for the 4-game series against the Giants.

I can't stand them for two very good reasons: 1) 1969 world series and, 2)they're my in-laws favorite team. If I have to be miserable with the Orioles then they can share in that with their own team. :D

The '69 series is good enough for me to hate the Mets forever. But, if you want me to root against your in-laws, I can do that too. ;)

R.A. Dickey is just incredible. I've seen knuckle ballers before, but not ones that throw that hard, have that much control and put up lines like that. Just amazing.

CUBS - o1

The Mets got their points with 2 touchdowns, 2 extra points, and a field goal today.

But how the hell did the Cubs get ONE point ???

There is no way to score a single point in football, unless you're playing in the CFL.

This isn't the CFL, this is the NFL.

I WANNA KNOW HOW THE HELL THE CUBS GOT ONE POINT TODAY !!!
