Yes, looked safe to me.

I think you're right.

But even though that call went our way, two wrongs shouldn't have to make a right. MLB officiating is just utterly atrocious this year, last year, every year. It's the worst part of the game. Payroll differentials are nothing when plays and pitches are called incorrectly anyway.

They showed a slow mo on YES here and it was definitely safe at first, but I am not complaining.

Yeah, I kinda figured that, there is a lot of complaining at NYYFans and LuckyJim is watching from Brooklyn. Too bad MASN didn't show the replay.

Alex Rodriguez grounds into a force out, shortstop J. Hardy to second baseman Robert Andino. Curtis Granderson out at 2nd. Curtis Granderson safe at 2nd when he stands on 2nd base, stares at the umpire for ten seconds, and doesn't leave the field. Two out.
