If you have one of the best bullpens in the business, USE it. Two outs in the 7th inning with the bases loaded and your starter running on fumes is a perfect place to do it. Game is not over yet, but it should have been a sure win for the Orioles.

Eh, this game is just another reality check.

Doesn't really matter that Patton gave up 2 more runs in the 9th. We've hit our ceiling of 3 runs already. This was over when Hammel gave up the bases clearing double. Not gonna win trotting the likes of Robert Andino Steve Pearce Mark Reynolds etc out there night after night.
