I think he has got a chance. He has got a lot of feel for sequencing and reading bats. He is going to be a Bergeson type though. Lots of things have to be on for him to succeed.

He has had a respectable K rate through his minor league career. He did have a sharp drop from 2014 to 2015 in AAA. If he sticks in the majors

I think he'll have a Buehrle like K/9.

Yeah, he knows how to pitch so he has a decent shot but like you said he has to have everything going right for him.

I'm not a Matusz fan outside of his present role, and then not much in the role either. I'd kinda like some insurance if the O's are entertaining those thoughts. Whatever they can manage to get a better read on his prospects these days as a starter. I have to say I'm skeptical.
