Same thing. If you let Chen walk and go after Zimmerman you are out one pick. There is no reason to go after Chen if you like Zimmerman better. I would rather go after Kazmir or Cueto (assuming Price is out of our range).

Despite a previous thought process of wanting to steer clear of Davis and a big contract I think it does make sense if you're going to sign one of the top FA then Davis might make sense in that you'd just not gain a comp pick instead of giving up 16 or wherever we're picking.

Plus I'm of the mindset that after Jones, Machado, and Bucks contracts are up our window closes for a bit and that's also around the time I imagine Davis' production will fall off a cliff so no harm done really.
