It really is interesting. It's a strange thing to do in the middle of the season, especially with a guy who you need to contribute while making the switch.

I honestly cannot remember anyone doing this while the results of games hang in the balance.

Just because Millar was good at the cleanup spot before this season doesn't mean that he's a good hitter there in 2008. You have to factor in his age. He is declining, there is no doubt about that...

You can hate Pettite all you want and what not, but when push comes to shove, he always seems to make his pitches when he needs to.
