That’s how long it took Mullins to circle the bases on his triple and the error, by my stopwatch.   My breakdown was:

1B 4.06

2B 7.36

3B 10.83 (Statcast said 11.05, sprint speed 28.8 ft/sec)

HP 15.70

Really impressive how quickly Mullins popped up and dashed for home.   Great instincts there.

On the second one, I had him at 3B in 10.75.    Statcast said 10.99, 29.0 ft/sec.    By both my and their accounts, slightly faster to 3B than on the first one.   

I had Richie Martin to 3B in 10.78 on the third one, in between Mullins’ two times.    

Lots of speed displays in this game.    It’s fun to see after years of station to station baseball.

Mullins was really fun to watch tonight. Most of the team was fun to watch.

Statcast had Martin’s time to 3B at 10.95, faster than either of Mullins’.   And those three trips were the fastest to 3B by the Orioles since Statcast began recording data.

Considering Mancini led the team in triples the last 2 seasons, they can finally stop using an hour glass to time someone going from home to 3rd.

I remember in Hardy’s last season a play where he ran from 1B to home plate looking like he would need an oxygen mask afterwards.

10.39 apparently is the fastest home to third time Statcast has recorded, by Billy Hamilton in 2018.     He didn’t have to slide and rounded 3B at full speed, which helps.

Didn't the O's set the all time record for least triples, I believe it was 5 or 6?

When I think of slow Orioles, I think of Wieters. Looked like he was carrying two buckets full of milk around the bases.
