Really wouldn't be fair to give any one in particular that honor. 

Poor planning with the pitching has taken a losing season to the next level of embarrassment in my opinion.

Not sure anyone could make any argument other than Davis, anyone worse gets sent down or released after a bit, but Davis sticks around as a testament and reminder of futility.

By the numbers, it's Richie Martin. Cedric Mullins was probably the worst player overall though. Had the fourth lowest Fangraphs WAR on the team despite only playing 22 games this season. Six hits in 74 plate appearances is just unbelievably bad.

If you are a pitcher you can be worse than Davis and you might go down but you will be back up soon enough,

His WAR is worse because of how much he has played. I think we have to look at the guys that only came up for a game or two and couldn't hack it and was sent back down.
