Sceroler was perhaps the worst performing Rule 5 draft pick the Orioles have ever selected. And I guess Elias doesn't see enough future potential to make it worthwhile keeping him on the MLB roster all season.

They had guys that didn't make it out of spring training.  Sceroler bested that.

My initial reaction was excitement.  I then realized that the Orioles are so bad that I am excited to see a 33 year old journeyman pitcher purely because he throws a knuckleball.

Yeah, but in knuckleball pitcher years Jannis is like 25 years old.

I put this on his kin Ben Macdonald. To me, this was a situation where Ben may have talked his cousin on to the team and by doing so talked Pop off the team. Never listen to Ben. He’s a meathead.

It depends on the official scorer and how many innings Severino or the pitcher lasts.   I'd put the over/under at 3 - with a 50% chance one pitch hits Sev in the head.  No worries, it won't be hard enough to hurt him.
