That's the first option for Lakins in the new 5 option per season limit system that went into effect Monday.

If Lakins comes back up, then later is optioned, then comes back up again, then later is optioned, then comes back up again, then later is optioned, then comes back up again -- he could not be optioned again without passing through waivers.

Logan Allen is a decent waiver claim. Not a high velo guy (89-92), but the slider is solid. The change up was supposed to be a 60 grade, not sure what happened there. Looks like the delivery could be cleaned up some.

Hmmm.  Wonder if an injury is coming for Allen.   I think his arm is starting to feel a little sore.   Needs to go on the IL for a while.

Yes.  Throwing a "pen" in that cold, damp weather can cause some strain to the forearm - better treat it gingerly.
