I am hoping that it gets announced at 3 this afternoon. Which, if that's the case, we only got 50 something minutes left.

Even if that's the case, it may just mean we've been eliminated, judging by what Belkast said. It doesn't mean it's "over", necessarily.

I just wish MacPhail would come out and say SOMETHING either way, besides that our offer is "flexible." All of this ambiguity is making my head spin!

I think the fact it seems so close to the end and Belkast said "we will see where we stand," which I don't necessarily see as a good sign..

Well, it's not like his super-optimism a few days ago brought us any great results so I wouldn't read too much into his mood. I think people are getting too caught up in trying to read between lines.

The only good sign was that BB sounded optimistic too. But then again I have been negative this whole time so I'm just expecting the worse.

Well Belkast said we should get an answer today...either we sign him(or close to signing him) or drop out of it.

Sounds to me that is a "we are tired of waiting, here is our best offer, take it or leave it" type thing.

Which actually is surprising seeing as how long AM let things drag out last year..figure he would be more patient.

Whom ever.. bottom line this has dragged on a bit much.. If your employer told you your next employer will offer no less than 140 mil how long would it take to make a decision.???? Alot more pressing things to consider.. A choice such as this isn't one of em.
