So like I thought, he wasn’t getting the 4th year.  He got a little higher AAV than I thought he would get but not by much.

I can’t say I would have beaten this offer but I would have considered matching it.

Eovaldi should sign for less and the Os should be all over that.

Eovaldi and/or Lopez at this point, or it will be more pathetic offseason failures for this team.

I don't either. I'm baffled and this makes me think the whole "we're willing to spend" line was nothing more than PR BS.

They didn’t suck last year.  They probably won’t suck this year.  I expect attendance will be up, depending on how the season goes.

What have you seen that makes you think they'll pay market rate for Eovaldi?

Eovaldi or a similar pitcher in trade.  Anything outside of that is likely a failure.

Os should be in on any 3 year or less deal.

100% Gibson for Lyles is essentially a lateral move.  How about actually trying to improve, instead of standing pat for once?
