Seems like a serviceable AAA depth guy. Hard to have much to say about these types of minor league signings.

Lefty use to be power bat. 20 homers in 2016-2019 in 450-560 ABs with With Texas. Then drops off the table to 1 every 50-75 ABs in 130-160 ABs (3 teams) since ….Dramatic drop …you have to wonder about dIscontinued PEDs.

No such thing as a bad minor league signing. Last year he was .264/.316/.352 in 55 games in San Diego. That would've led the 2022 O's in batting average, been 6th in OBP, and 11th in slugging. Worth a roll of the dice to see if you can fix something.

Can you get him some roids? As I said, the drop off the cliff in power is very concerning. If that’s the case it’s the only way to fix it.

That is a precipitous decline.  This guy drove in 101 RBI's his second season.  Makes me wonder about PED use or maybe he just has a weakness MLB pitchers discovered how to exploit...  Kind of reminds me of Jonathan Schoop's precipitous decline....
