As sharp as they usually are maximizing the daily roster, it is kind of a yardstick how thin their pitching is getting that tonight Tyler Glasnow is scheduled to make his first start in 2 weeks as he's been nursing back spasms, but they haven't put him on injured list and every few days its just been, he's throwing a bullpen we hope to have him in a few days.

We'll see how he holds up in San Francisco tonight as the AL East race is in California.

Not traveling with the team makes me believe he’s possibly headed toward some restricted list or administrative leave. Unfortunate.

IIRC they’re also shutting McClanahan down for the season.

I'm not convinced that Wander Franco is being a predator here.  The girl is a victim 100% no matter what, but Franco being as young as he is, she would have to be quite young in order for this to enter predator territory (at least in my opinion.)

 

We need a *lot* more info here.

So he is 22 now and this girl apparently is 18 or 19 it sounds like.  If true and it happened when she was 14 that would make him 17-18 at the time.   That changes the story a lot then when it was first reported and sounded like he was 22 and she was 14.   Now it seems more like a guy who would have been a senior in high school and girl that could have been a freshman in high school.

In regards to McClanahan, I’m sure they’ll just have someone else’s step in and take his place from their never ending supply of arms.
