Yup. Whole damn ball was in the strike zone. Next two pitches were strikes including the third being swinging.

How exactly would that have changed the season?  He gave up a well placed GB by a great young hitter. No shame. Still an excellent outing.

We've been the better team so far today.   Better hitting, better starting pitching, better defense.  Let's just keep it up for a few more innings and be happy with the effort.

I would advocate for McCann playing more to give Aldey more of a rest, so long as Mateo is not with him in the batting order.
