I'd like to see him stick around too, but would it be at the expense of someone like Stowers? He needs to get some MLB AB eventually.

In what world is it better to have Tony Kemp vs. Ryan McKenna

Kemp OPS+ for the last 3 years 126, 90, 76 Hit .209 in ~ 400 AB's

McKenna OPS+ for the last 3 years 56, 83, 91 Hit  .254 in only ~130 AB's

I'd rather have McKenna to back up Mullins, than Kemp to back up Westburg/Urias

So much for going with 14 position players to start out with. DFA’ing Nevin and McKenna together at the last minute increases their chances of clearing. The 40 man is only at 37-38 now. I could see Elias picking up some arms off waivers if available. 

Not having Webb hurts our MR. Hopefully, that’s not an issue and we can go Burnes-Tate/Coloumbe-Cano-Kimbrel today. Or just win 11-1.
