He doesn't help the team meaningfully this year because of his innings limit. And while he does give us 2 years of control after this year, this is really the only year he's been a starter aside from back in college which was half a decade ago.

I say no. Too many risks and question marks around him.

As someone shouting we have not done enough on the pitching side, I don't see how you can do that trade. 

If you're going to trade for a pitcher with a strong possibility of durability issues, it should not be one of the top 3.  

Maybe Basallo for a Tarik Skubal but even then I'd have a hard time pulling the trigger.  It just feels like there's plenty of other players that could get traded instead -- including Cowser and Mounty.
