Tigers just took a 5-2 lead over Houston. Hader walked a guy to load the bases, then gave up a 3-R double.

MLB is stupid. "Hey, let's schedule playoff games in the middle of the week, then announce game times the day before the series starts." Had they actually scheduled the Braves and Mets double header competently, then more fans would actually have time to take off work.

Even if Eflin goes a complete game and doesn't give up anything more, the Orioles have shown me no reason to believe they will be able to tie it up. And at some point, you can't blame the pitching for ceding one run. You can't take a 0-0 game into the 99th inning waiting for the hitters to figure out how to score a run and blame the pitching if they blink.
