I don't think it's Banks. He has been horrible and just got DFA. If we wanted him all we had to do is put in a claim. There were a number of reported teams interested so while I certainly don't expect much for Oscar I think we did better than Banks.

It won't (most likely) be Ekstrom, Perdomo, or Mujica as they all pitched today.

Mujica was lights out a few years back for CLE when he made his debut, but hasn't been much since.

Maybe it's just me, but it makes no sense for the rebuilding and noncontending San Diego Padres to trade for a 31-year-old firstbaseman with only 133 career at-bats (although the Padres have a proud tradition of taking on refugees from the Mexican League).

I suspect another deal is coming.
