Looks like the Rays have Badenhop coming in. Too bad they don't have Balfour still. Balfour and Badenhop would give me some good vibes.

Ball four and a Bad hop would still only put runners at first and third.

WOW

Tampa Bay is 13-3 at home and 7-10 away. So do they have some kind of blowers down there that they manipulate to give their hitters an edge (or the opposing hitters a disadvantage)? ;)

Seriously, that's a huge difference. They have an EXTREMELY winning record at home and a fairly bad losing record away. Two different teams!

I don't think you'll find teams with that kind of variance too often. Far and away the numbers are within 10 or 20% variance in win percentage. Tampa Bay's win percentage variance between home and away is a whopping 40.07 percentage points of win percent. They win 81.2% of games at home and only 41.1% of games on the road.

In 33 games you'll find that kind of variance all the time.
