I think you are right. At the end of the day if Nick doesn't hesitate he scores easily. He started out right away and then he hesitated for a second, why I will never know.

True. Though, as someone who does a lot of officiating myself, I can't stand to see a call like that blown. Hustle to your spot up the line and get in position to make the call. If you're standing directly over the play, you aren't giving yourself the best view.
