That was my biggest concern. If we can get him for a reasonable price, I wouldn't mind trying to fix him at AAA- look what those guys did with Nate.

Smoak's away stats has him at 743 ops 200 points higher and 40 points higher in avg and 15 to 4 homers away vs home. I am betting he makes a team really happy if he can get away from safeco on a consistent basis. We are not talking a front-line starter for Smaok I bet more like some chop meat.

what about out of options Tommy Hunter? Actually, I think the Mariners value Smoak way above Johnson and Hunter. But they are wrong in doing so. He's a mess.
