Nope. On his first grounder (first play fielding 3B) he threw wide of 1B.

Another question. Moving him from DH, did they burn the DH putting him in the field?

Yes. That's why I asked. Garcia was due up in Manny's spot.

Yes, but it was the 9th and we had a 14 run lead. If we'd needed the DH, that would have been a secondary issue.

Jimmy has a strong but inaccurate arm. Maybe he'd do better in the outfield, there the throwing mechanics are different. He has decent speed. If his bat stays strong, maybe they'll give him a look out there with an eye toward next season.

I'd DFA Chris Davis before I'd DFA Paredes.

Good thing we still have Delmon Young to get rid of.

Navarro goes for Hardy

Lavarnway goes for Wieters

Cabrera goes for Flaherty

If Schoop comes back any time soon, I'd look to trade either Delmon or DeAza

That is silly. Davis is looking like he may have a renaissance year. That said' date=' there are pitchers I'd kiss goodbye well before either Davis or Paredes.[/quote']

Unfortunately Davis will kiss himself goodbye if he has a big year. Im guessing thats why Weams is willing to DFA Davis.

He said he had not seen it. We were going to let him believe.
