The next time Sale is scheduled to pitch on a hot day they should use these throwbacks.

First, the shorts would make him more comfortable, secondly, they would be easier to cut up when He throws his tantrum.

Yes, Chris Sale is a little nuts ...... which hardly distinguishes himself from many other Major League baseball players.

Cutting up the team uniforms before the game ...... THAT distinguishes himself from most (if not all) other Major League baseball players.

IMHO, The White Sox did the right thing by sending him home if he in fact took a knife to the uniforms.

If true, his actions were obviously destructive and insubordinate.

He should probably be suspended for conduct detrimental to the team, but that would probably impede their possibly showcasing him for a trade.

If nothing else, the white Sox should change their policy on letting the starting pitchers pick the uniform.

This is the kind of garbage that happens when you let the inmates run the asylum. ( Especially when one of them has a tendency to act out like a spoiled brat.)

I agree. He got five game suspension but I think that is not enough. If he only cut up his uniform that would be one thing but ruining a whole marketing event because you don't like a jersey? Say you got the stomach virus if you don't want to pitch in those uniforms.

No, these were the ones that were going to be used.

They look a lot better than the Steelers throw back jerseys. Maybe for punishment they make one throwback jersey and make Sale pitch in those the rest of the year while the rest of the team wears the current Sox uniforms.
