Gausman for Gerrit Cole. Maybe change of scenery helps both.

Interesting comparison but I don't see why we would prefer one over the other, nor the Pirates. At least Gausman seems like a good kid going through a funk. I don't think Cole would mesh with Buck and AJ.

Gausman has one less year of service time.  They may think Searsge can fix him.  Searage hasn't fixed Cole to date.  

 

Might have to to add something, but could see Pirates interested.

Maybe we can package them in a trade too.

1.  Value is not nearly the same.  Cole is a better pitcher.

2.  Cole is a head case you don't want any part of.  He will be a bigger and bigger headache as he approaches free agency.
