That was a well-managed inning by Cecil Cooper. Even though he could've brought in the lefty a batter earlier for Bynum, he knew that Trembley would just pinch-hit with Payton or Cintron. So he had Backe overmatch Bynum and then brought in the southpaw for Roberts.
