Don't hold your breath waiting for Grenier, Knight, Roberts, Kilian, or Horvath to sign in the next couple days, once they sign they are no longer eligible to play college baseball and they are all still involved in the College World Series.

Also Drew Rom pitches tomorrow in a state semifinal game, so he likely won't sign quickly either.

Yep, this time of year I root against the teams of Oriole draftees.

Especially the pitchers.

I'm a little (ok...a lot!) ignorant on the draft dollars.   If Knight and the O's don't come to terms, can they use his slot money to sign any other players, or is it only dollars you save that can be used for bonus money?

If they don’t sign Knight they lose the value of his slot, so no, they can’t use it elsewhere.

You can only use savings from any underslot in the top ten rounds to go overslot. There is also a 5% overage that is allowable without severe penalty (75% tax on overage).
