I’m not sure that tweet wasn’t just quoting the slot, if he was confirmed at slot, I’d imagine Callis, Roch, or Melewski would have it.

I just wanted to confirm that Grenier’s bonus is not yet public knowledge at the time of this posting.

That twitter account mainly tweets info from MLBtraderumors, the tweet stating he signed for slot was tweeted 3 hours after the MLBtraderumors post saying the he signed, along with tweets about the other guys mentioned in the same MLBtraderumors article. The MLBTR article mentioned the slot value but not the actual terms which I think confused the twitter account in question.

I am assuming that since both Knight and Grenier were at Camden Yards yesterday as guests of the Orioles that all the money has been spent. Unless they wanted to pay the tax thing.

I don’t know, probably at least 500k. Once bonuses for Knight and Grenier are announced I’ll update the max the O’s can offer with just slot and with the 5% overage that doesn’t cost a pick.
