Is it pulling a duquette if his bosses tell him to?  DD was out of MLB baseball for a long time when we hired him. He’s 60. I’m sure he’s in no rush to wait around for another job. So he’s gotta do this one.

I didn't say he wants to do it.  I'm sure the other two times he's done it he would have preferred to have ownership just agree to eat the money.

I will always have alot of respect for Buck. However, it doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out that the Orioles need a new voice leading their team. I don't care if Dan stays or leaves. I just want to see Buck and all his coaches leave. The only coach I would consider keeping is Bobby Dickerson.

DD finally gets to hire his manager.  Of course will people actually want the job?  They only have to deal with,

- a 3-4 year rebuild (that they will likely rack up a terrible record and be fired for)

- Work with Ownership. 

- Work with DD

I have a feeling we are going to go really young and/or former player with ties to DD. Jason Varitek?
