Did you read the article you quoted?  Dodgers have three lefties so they expect Schoop to play.

I would have sooner bet on a meteor strike  destroying earth than Miley starting game 2 of the NLCS or ALCS a year ago this time.

And besides, Schoop has a significant career reverse-split OPS stat of .693 vs. lefties and .755 vs. RHP. His OBP is almost the same against either hand, but is in the low .290s.
