Are you suggesting the O's should sign him?

Good luck to him wherever he goes.   It would be impressive to see if he could make a return.   I can't imagine many guys have made a return after so many surgeries/ injuries/ time off.

Exactly. If he’s healthy and throwing well I don’t see any difference between him and any other value play. Well, other than the fact he once pitched for Orioles. Could be a negative.

Chris Tillman and Matt Wieters on minor league deals? It’d be a good distraction from the major league team at least.

I don’t know that it makes sense for us to sign a 32-year old pitcher, no matter how cheap.    But if Tillman proved he was healthy and throwing well, it would be tempting.   I always liked his persona and toughness.

Just make sure whomever scouted his last showcase for the O's has been fired.

Seems like the team's manager then and Brady Anderson probably played a big role in the signing, too.

But if an actual scout looked at Tillman and thought he was worth that contract, they need to be fired.

He probably would not come here anyway. Pitchers making a comeback would not want to pitch at Camden Yards.The Orioles wanted to sign two pitchers to MILB contracts and were turned down that we know of ,Including Fernando Abad.
