They traded Mookie (in his final year before free agency) and David Prize (with a few years left on a very high $ contract) to LA for young OF Alex Verdugo and a couple prospects.

Dodgers just gave Mookie a huge extension through 2032, with some Bonilla/Chris Davis type payments through 2044.
