Tony's going to have to work some Statcast magic fo rme to like this pick up.  Really don't mind DFA'ing Sedlock, but I'd want something better.  I see nothing to like.

Yup

I mentioned Austin Voth in a game thread a few days ago. The Washington Post had an article about him and his good spin rates and a big analytical team might take a chance on him.

Basically, but every executive thinks that they are the smartest in the room and will be the one to fix the guy who is unable to take full advantage of his talent, and nobody elucidates that stereotype more than Mike Elias.

Voth turns 30 this month. Not exactly a young project but talent is talent so cant really argue with that. Another lottery ticket.

Yes but not today, I guess there is some travel time allowed.    So someone will have to be bumped off the major league roster tomorrow (or maybe Thursday, don't know).

Elias loves high spin rates, so that was probably a factor in claiming him.
