For those wondering, here's his draft thread. Seems to have more tools than the typical 10th rounder. Nice guy to follow and root for.

Yeah every year some college bat gets off to an unexpected hot start.  But every now and again they turn in to Cedric Mullins.

His swing there looks like all upper body and that he’s not using a lot of his lower half.  I wonder if there’s more power the hitting instructors can tap into.

He was headed to the 11th rd, but we had some money freed up in the bonus pool to snag him before then. The bonus pool system makes guys get drafted based on sign ability more so than talent.

I like that he was able to get into that up and in fastball. The velocity didn't look amazing from the eye test, but still impressive that he was able to get the barrel to that pitch location.

Awesome beard.  Fat pitch.  Agree with the comment he's not using his lower half at all...

 

Here's hoping he's the next Mullins!!!
