Well, I believe they already failed to score once this season in that situation. So maybe some residual frustration can be allowed.

14 consecutive losing seasons can take quite a while to diminish in one's psyche.

Last year's 93-69 was a start, but far from blotting it out completely.

It is pretty insane to think that with all the runs we've scored, Nick Markakis has zero rbis, while Matt Wieters has only 3. That's just crazy.

Nick's hitting tonight will go completely unnoticed also, because he was responsible for getting Machado in scoring position every time, but no rbis and only a single run to show for it.

Not that he cares, as long as they win. But inevitably when he hits a slump, people will point to his lack of numbers...

RBIs are not a useful stat.
