Is it me, or is there no killer instinct with this team as they move down the stretch?

This game proves to me, that while in high school, I could have stepped on a major league mound and won a game. I had the same makeup a Milone does RIGHT NOW.

It probably just seems that way.

What doesn't just seem that way is that the team is much better at the plate in low leverage situations than in high leverage situations. They also, somewhat surprisingly, our much better against finesse pitchers than against power pitchers. Given our seeming penchant for being nearly no-hit by slow-tossing lefties, I found that surprising.
