Shoemaker did get away with a few hangers last night. It seemed like most of them were pulled foul. Kudos to him though, he saw that the O's were hitting off the fastball. To which he had a good game plan and stuck to it.

I absoultely agree.

  Wait a minute, this was a throw away game, right? I mean, a lineup with non-MLB caliber players like Mateo and McKenna who have no business playing in a must win game, so this had to be the throw away day. Oh, I see, both of them homered today. Maybe Brandon Hyde does care, and doesn't suck. Shame on the overreactors for dissing today's lineup. Also, 4 games against the Yanks, and they got 6 freakin' runs guys. The pitchers stepped up big time!! I did not expect to hold them to 1.5 runs per game, nor did anyone else on here.

  I have to admit that my take on the bullpen over the weekend was reactionary. Guilty as charged. Oak and NYY are weak-hitting teams, though. At least right now. We will see what happens going forward. Adding Suarez and Wells to the BP should help.
