They sign lots of guys.   We've got two teams in the DSL, so we signed enough guys to stock those teams.    Whether they're any good is another story.  

I haven't heard Fred Ferreira's name in a couple of years.   Is he still in the organization?

I see no reason to think this signing is any more or less notable than any other.

Nope, but at 6-3, 200 pounds as a 16-year old, it peaks my interest a bit.
