The camera has been so slow all series.

I just wish games would use the behind the catcher view more often like in the late 60s / early 70s. It was the default view then. So much easier to see what happens in those situations. I'd even be happy to have a small cut-in window within that shot to show the over the pitcher's shoulder view just to judge strike zone.

There was a recent road game where a ball hit into the corner (I think it was Gunnar's Little League HR at Nats Park) was not tracked in time to see what had happened in the LF corner. I know the producer of the broadcast has to make those calls to switch views very fast, but it's impossible when the ball is hit so hard. Solution: just show the old 60s/70s angle and have that small window with strike zone view.

So much for shut down inning. You'd think with Kirk out for this series you might get a little help but nope back up lighter hitting Jansen hits it out 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Jansen's OPS+ coming in today was 127 and Kirk's is 132. They both have 14 homers now but Jansen has done it in about 250 less at-bats--he's had good power throughout his career.
