Canada wildfires aren't contained so might go on some more of the week.

Shoot, its just AAA - they could just bus the squads to Norfolk if tomorrow and next few days look bad.

That would make a lot of sense.  They aren't going to have makeup AAA games.

Yankees and Phillies games were canceled tonight for this as well.

Here in NY the smoke has been eerie. And irritating to the eyes/nose/throat, sometimes even indoors. 

It's expected to continue tomorrow so I wonder if the Yankees will even be able to play their planned doubleheader.

They should cancel it--the air quality alert has been "very unhealthy" at least until Thursday midnight.

I was downtown all day and even this far from the wildfires the smell of burning wood was everywhere and of course the tawny sky

There's really no reason that it should, but I suspect that you are right.

Should be no reason Cowser can’t get through full games now. A few extra days of rest have to be helpful there.

I’m sure he could have gotten through full games last week when he played.  The O’s are very conservative in that regard (among others).
