This heady play by Gunnar is reminiscent of the Manny no-throw play. What a treat is it to have an uber talented young kid making heads up plays in a big game when his team needs someone to make one.

I was watching the Rays broadcast and I thought I heard them say it was changed to a triple.

Box score says triple so I think you’re right. BTW that is his 5th triple on the year!

It may have been scored a triple for technical reasons, but what a stupid, lazy play by Arozarena.   I’m glad Gunnar made him pay for it.

This. It's not an error but in a way that kind of intentional laziness is worse. I expect better of a good team.

I'm just amused because of how many people there were bemoaning and complaining to send him down back in April.
