Understandably so. I saw several Dodger games in August and September of 2008 when Manny came to LA and hit to the tune of 1.232 (!) OPS for the rest of the season. To say the atmosphere was electric when he came to bat would be an understatement.

After almost 50 years of watching baseball, the birth of Mannywood remains one of my top ten memories.
