Getting Hit hard again. Just how smart are the Mets?

Not very. It's always fun to speculate about the impending end of a guy's career when he has a 2.96 in his last 620 innings, but like a 5.00 in his last 10.

Also of note: Josh Hamilton hitting .050, so good chance the Angels will get -15 WAR out of his $125M deal.

I didn't have an issue with the Dickey trade from the Mets' perspective. They were unlikely to contend in the next few years and got quality back.

Oh, that's fine. But the OP was suggesting (I presume) that the Mets knew Dickey would implode so they traded him just in time, and his first two starts are proof of this.

Knuckleballer in a dome. Question could just as well be, "How dumb are the Jays?" They're going to have to steal a lot of signs to get back into this one.

I was unaware knuckleballers didn't work in retractable roof stadiums, or domes. A quick look at Phil Niekro's career splits in domes didn't seem to indicate that at all - he had almost exactly the same ERA inside and out.

Blue Jays as a squad have disaster written all over them, Dickey likely will just be leading that charge being in a dome, and in a division with another Dome team, and a Yankee stadium that all those fly balls he lets up go into the stands.
