I liked Feldman as our #5, but 3/30 for a league average 30 year old isn't a better option then making Guasman the #5.

Wow. Someone on here summed up Feldman perfectly a few days ago. Why pay a pitcher like Feldman 10 mil, when you hope he get's pushed out of the rotation before his contract is up. I think we're going to see a trade for a 5th starter.

While I agree with the posters previously who just said that it's too much money for a pitcher like Feldman. Name one mid-to-high talent FA who we haven't said the exact same thing about this offseason. It's just the way baseball free agency is going, like it or not, we have to keep up with it.

Yep. Yesterday it said he was asking for 3/30. I thought he'd get less. It just takes one team.

Looking at the money the league was throwing away for other guys, it was pretty clear somebody would pay him.
