Hey. I am not against getting Kennedy. Feldman was having a real good year too.

I would be down with Kennedy at a price that does not include Bundy/Harvey/KG

I would much prefer going that route than giving up any of those 3 guys in a trade for another pitcher.

I think the O's could find spots somewhere for Kennedy, Street, Smith, & Alonso (to make Manny happy). Obviously a trade is the reason why Randy Wolf cleaned out his locker. Straight up.

We could use smith and release Delmon young, but I don't see how we could use Alonso at all. Davis isn't going anywhere and he wouldn't be a good enough outfielder to warrant trading for. Plus I believe they just extended smith or were at least discussing it.

But id take street and Kennedy in a heartbeat. Give me both of those guys and id even consider giving up bundy. Maybe.

Kennedy is pretty much Feldman.

Yes, if you ignore:

1) Kennedy's extra two strikeouts per nine.

2) Kennedy's three seasons with more innings than Feldman's career high

3) Kennedy's career best 2.88 ERA, about a run better than Feldman's best

4) Feldman's significantly higher (1.44 to .92) GB rate

5) Kennedy's tendency to throw a lot more changeups and many fewer cutters than Feldman

6) Feldman is three inches taller and significantly heavier

7) Feldman's three seasons as a regular starter with an ERA over 5.00, compared to Kennedy's none.

But besides that they're almost exactly the same.

Feldman was having a terrific year last season. Kennedy is too this year. But I concede. It was a ridiculous comparasion.
