Adam Jones might just be the most entertaining man in baseball. I generally loathe "Reality" TV, but I would watch the ever-loving hell out of an AJ reality show.

I seriously think AJ's going to be like Palmer, Dempsey, or Bordick in the future and still be with the team in his older years. I'm sure he'll make a very entertaining color man.

I haven't been posting much this year but I've been watching. I love baseball. I love this team. I love MLBtv for staying on for an hour after the final pitch so I could watch the best celebration ever. What an emotional night. Let's go O's!!!!!!

The last time the Baltimore Orioles won the AL East:

- Bill Clinton was just starting his second term as president

- Gas was $1.24/gallon

- Most people had dial-up internet...or no internet at all

- Google and JetBlue had not yet been founded

- Gordon Ramsey hadn't opened up his first restaurant yet

- The Spice Girls had the best-selling album of the year (can we go back in time and change this?)

- The Detroit Tigers were in the AL East, because Tampa Bay did not yet have a baseball team

- The Washington Wizards were known as the Washington Bullets

- Children born during the previous first-place Orioles season are now high school seniors.

A great season. Even though tonight has been a forgone conclusion for maybe two months, it is hard to believe we have been in the wilderness for 17 years. I was a season ticket holder then. It has been a long time coming. Congrats to our ownership, front office, managers, players and all deserving diehards here at the great Orioles Hangout.

I have never felt so confident night-in and night-out that this team would collect wins. This team has been a wrecking ball.

The ride is not over. We have some playoff raging to do. I like our chances. Let the chips fall where they may.
