Yankees scored 1 run in a doubleheader yesterday. They have been playing really well but they have some holes in the lineup.Orioles might be getting them at the tight time in a little offensive slump.

Interesting so the bench is going to be short a position player now with Nevin back to Norfolk. But with Watkins getting hurt and turning yesterday into an unscheduled bullpen game the team needs the extra arm.

In part that's because Josh Donaldson, Joey Gallo, and Kyle Higashioka are all on the Covid IL.

Losing Gallo might be addition by subtraction with his performance, but I won't complain about not having to see Josh Donaldson on the field.

And I could never really understand. Was Jerry a bigger Mets fan? Did he ever pull for the Yankees? I don't ever remember him doing so. 

I love the one where Elaine wears the Orioles hat to the Yankee game and gets into a fight. Loved how they made her an O's fan. Yankees and Orioles were such big rivals at that time. Many people think that Boston is the original rival of New York and have no clue that it's Baltimore.

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is a Maryland native, so I’d guess that factored into the choice of the Orioles for the rival hat in that episode.
