I still think he had the idea he'd wait til the trade deadline to see how we were doing.  But then I also think ownership put the brakes on last fall, kinda spoiling his hopes to go for it back then.

Yeah, he might overestimate them given that so many are his own reclamation projects.

But even if he is aware of their shortcomings, I don't think he genuinely considers this year within our window, so making the big move isn't urgent yet.
