I think so.  They are really taking the replacing of Wainwright seriously!

But I do think the rotation is Mikolas, Matz, Gray, Lynn, and Gibson.  Very middling. Would have loved Gray for the O's though.

I will be very interested in seeing what he ends up getting. Gray was one that I wanted. But he may not have wanted to play on the east coast.

The early deals have been at pretty high prices, but of course, that’s why the players sign them early.

Lol this offseason is about to be dildos.  Of course it's been expected but to see it actually happen is still disappointing.  I wanted Gray, would have given him a 3 year deal with a 4th option.  And I'd go for the 4th year if I really, really had to but whatever.  Our rotation for the next 2-3 years probably looks pretty good with him.

Oh well.

Given expense and the fact we would give up a pick... I'm not sure I would've done that deal.  We will see how it works out in St. Louis.

Bummer. Really didn't expect STL to be the highest bidder after the moves they have already made. They must really hate their pitching prospects.
